HOW TO WRITE A RESIGNATION LETTER
In a relationship between an employee and employer or the head, there is the presence of some formal values in every organization. There is a proper and formal way to approach and convey your message or plan to the organization.
The same thing applies when someone is going to quit his/her job. You cannot go and say “I quit” or write a note “I resign” and walk away. You should follow a proper and formal way to tell your boss that you are no more interested to work there and going to resign from your post.
Writing a resignation letter is such a formal way to convey your intention about resigning. You should tell your boss through a resignation letter as it’s a professional way to resign from your job whether it’s a corporate office or a restaurant. This letter provides advance notice to your employer that you are quitting your job so that they will proceed with the application and take the necessary steps.
When to write a resignation letter.
The resignation letter must be written according to the contract signed while you joined the organization. But if there is no such contract, it is better to notify them one month before quitting the job.
It depends on the job and the availability of a new candidate. For example, if the job needs some unique and special eligibility then it will take more time for finding an eligible candidate and if the job doesn’t require any special eligibility then it will not take that much time for recruiting new applicants. The main thing to remember is that you should give the letter in advance to the employer so that there will not be any type of chaos in the office due to the vacancy and the work of the company runs smoothly. It will be beneficial for the company to summarize your work and overlook if there is any type of pending situation in between. If there exists any, then they will be able to complete it within time so that there will not be any kind of complaint from both sides.
In such a way writing a resignation letter proves much helpful for both parties.

You must mention the date from where you are quitting the job and the last day of your work at the company. As mentioned above it will help the company to be ready with new candidates to fill the vacancy from your last day.
“ in some situations ( not formally) your colleagues can arrange a farewell party (not to be mentioned).
You should write some words showing gratitude about employing you at the company and should thank everybody including the boss for their valuable cooperation while you were working at the company.
